What does 方 mean?
方 is a Japanese noun meaning “side” or “direction” in English. It can also be translated as “the one (in comparisons)” depending on context. It is written as 方 in kanji, ほう in hiragana, and hou in romaji. This word is part of JLPT N4 vocabulary.
